Research group leader Sasha Mendjan will lead a pilot project to establish an institute tissue culture (TC) support team. The aim is to enhance advanced TC at the institute through quality control (QC) of reagents, media, and cell lines, the development of quantitative cell culture assays, and the introduction of TC automation for the groups at the institute. We are searching for a postdoctoral fellow with extensive experience in TC and organoids (see below) to perform hands-on work with the support of technical assistants.  Success in the pilot can lead to a longer-term perspective to establish a new TC service at the Vienna BioCenter (VBC).
