We are searching for a
Research Technician
to join the Knoblich Lab.
We are an enthusiastic research group working on the interface between neuroscience and medicine. Our goal is to model the development of the human brain starting from pluripotent stem cells. We have developed cerebral organoids that allow us to model diseases like epilepsy and autism in a culture dish. Your profile:
We are looking for a highly motivated team member to join our competitive research group. We offer extensive training in cutting edge cell culture, bioengineering and genome-editing methodology. Successful applicants will have at least a master’s degree in biology or related fields and proficiency in cell culture. Previous experience in working with human pluripotent cells would be an advantage.

The gross annual salary for this position is € 49,000 (full-time, 40 hours/week) with a willingness to overpay for appropriate qualifications and experience.Subsidized child-care facilities are available at the Vienna BioCenter. The position is available from April 2025.
