IMBA Institute of Molecular Biotechnology of the Austrian Academy of Science is an internationally recognized research institute that focuses on molecular medicine, stem cell research and RNA biology and is home to about 230 scientists from over 42 countries. The
Grade Group seeks to understand the mechanisms of brain tissue plasticity upon injuries, and the potential of stem cell-based transplantation for brain repair. The research group uses mouse as model organism to address these fundamental questions. Their primary goal is to expand our knowledge of the diseased brain and guide the development of strategies for repair. See more in

The annual remuneration for this position is € 38.500,- (according to collective agreement, based on a fulltime employment, 40h/w, possible overpayment depending on education, qualification and experience). Part-time employment (>20h/w) can also be considered. We aim to fill this position as soon as possible. The position is currently limited to one year and an extension is possible. Earliest possible starting date: November 1st, 2024.
